New Year, New Me?

Another holiday season has gone by. We’ve all indulged and celebrated for the past few weeks and it’s time to get back into our new found routines.

I love this time of year. Most people have great intentions, their carts are filled with good foods, the gyms are full and everyone is doing their best to have a positive attitude, despite the sugar and carb depletion.

For me, the new year is always a time for reflection. I reflect on the past year and find three positives of it. This year, my positives were my first full year of marriage, adopting my cat Murphy and my new business as a Beachbody coach. As much as I complain about the day to day, 2016 had a lot of great content.

I also take time to reflect on one thing I would like to change, it’s typically something like spend less time on my phone, love more, snack less, read more, and the list goes on and on.

This year I’ve decided I’m not pushing the idea of a new me. I love who I am but I’m striving for a better version of me. A smarter, more focussed individual. Someone with drive and determination to make change. A more confident woman. One who’s not afraid to take initiative to help others.

That sounds a lot like I need to change for the new year but I think I already have it within me. It’s just hiding under the person I thought I should be. Thankfully Beachbody has helped me see my full potential. What are your plans for 2017? I’d love to chat and share our goals and plans for this year.
